Power plants are key facilities that generate the electricity essential for modern life. They generate power from thermal or nuclear energy sources or from wind, hydroelectricity, or other natural energy sources. LNG and IGCC (integrated coal gasification combined cycle) thermal power plants primarily apply compressors to inject fuel gas into gas turbines at constant pressure. The best-suited compressor type (screw, centrifugal, or reciprocating) can be selected respectively according to the required specifications.
