Compressor segment Offshore facilities
Offshore facilities
Offshore facilities are floating marine facilities for the collection, storage, transport, and shipping of oil or gas from offshore
oil fields, such as FPSO facilities, FSRUs, and offshore platforms.
Compressors are used to circulate the gas back to the
original process to protect the environment by preventing the release of CO2-laden gas into the atmosphere in large quantities.
Since offshore facilities operate at sea, they need advanced technical capabilities along with a level of reliability and
robustness high enough to resist shaking, vibrations, salt damage, and other adverse conditions. Offshore facilities are an
application that is expected to grow alongside the recent rise in global energy demand.
